Alegre Corrêa was born in Paso Fundo / RioGrande de Sul. While not denying his musical roots in Brazil, he is open to all areas of music – finding inspira- tion in European classics and folklore just as much as in all kinds of jazz. His is a member of the Vienna Art Orchestra.
